About Susie McGregor

Susie McGregor has spent most of her life singing. Her twelve years of singing lessons gave her a good foundation and understanding of vocal tones and placement. Susie was the winner of the first PNE talent search at the age of 14 and started recording songs and working with a band shortly thereafter.

About Susie McGregor

Susie McGregor is a natural performer who has been captivating audiences for many years, with her warm personality and emotional performances.

She is also a dedicated business woman wearing a vast collection of hats, including singer/songwriter, teacher, director, producer, mentor, community activist, and most important the “mom” hat.

Susie has been writing songs all her life, she has been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to write with and learn from many very accomplished writers.
Attending Music Business conferences was also a passion for Susie. Learning about the business side of entertainment and networking with other artists and industry people were some of the highlights, but Susie also felt frustrated that many of the seminars she wanted to attend were being held at the same time in different rooms, so this inspired her to create The Vancouver Island Music Business Conference, aka (VIMBC), which brought industry professionals, artists, and songwriters together in the beautiful Comox Valley. The conference grew bigger every year, and eventually Susie created The Great Canadian Song Race to run in tandem with VIMBC.
Susie enjoys putting on songwriting workshops, and retreats.
The Great Canadian Song Race was one of Susie’s favorite events (she created and produced) and is working on the plans for the next Race.
