Susie was the winner of the first PNE talent search at the age of 14 and started recording songs and working with a band shortly thereafter.
At 16 Susie enjoyed working at Maz and Me’s Musical Theatre restaurant.
Country Bands ‘Saddle Rock”, “Wild Frontier” & “The Thrillbillies” were all full time road bands that Susie fronted in the early 90’s.
Her first CD “Something Real” was released in 1996, and the cross Canada Radio tour in 1998 was successful at gaining radio support and a larger fan base.
The Tarten EP came out in 1999 and was a reflection of her love for Celtic music.
Putting together the “Jewels of the island “ compilation CD’s was another labour of love for Susie.
The Great Canadian Song Race was one of Susie’s favorite events (she created and produced) and she is working on the plans for the next Race.
